Brighthouse Typo theme

What is it?

Why it’s the theme I use on this blog of course!

What is required?

Brighthouse supports Typo Trunk and 2.6.0.

There is now a WordPress version available. Thanks Max.

How do I get it?

You can get Brighthouse either via a direct download link or from subversion:

  • Download Brighthouse for Typo Trunk : zip | tgz
  • Download Brighthouse for Typo 2.6.0: zip | tgz
  • Subversion repository (Typo Trunk ONLY) svn://www.height1percent.com/public/themes/brighthouse

How do I install it?

If you downloaded either the zip or the tgz file:

  1. Extract the file to a temporary directory, this will create the directory /brighthouse-theme-x.x.x where x.x.x
  2. Copy the /brighthouse-theme-x.x.x/brighthouse directory into the /themes directory of your Typo installation.
  3. Log into Typo admin and go to the Themes tab. Follow any extra installation/configuration instructions on the Brighthouse information box on that page.
  4. Click activate

If you are using subversion:

  1. Checkout the give subversion location into the /themes direcotry of your Typo installation. (I assume you know how to use svn co otherwise look up a tutorial on SVN)
  2. Log into Typo admin and go to the Themes tab. Follow any extra installation/configuration instructions on the Brighthouse information box on that page.
  3. Click activate

Where are the release notes/changelog?

Currently I am just doing a blog post for each release which serves as the release notes. The changelog is included in zip/tgz distro files and in SVN.

  1. Release 1.2.0
